20th till 22th January The Stubai Cup has become the parafly scene’ s opening event of the season.Organising the Stubai Cup as an interim to the Bregenzerwald-Cup has proved itself to be a successful alternation.
The Stubai-Cup with its fun flyer and professional flyer competitions and international manufacturers open-air presentation is now an established and popular event in the parafly scene today. Thanks to the support of the main sponsors: Neustift and Stubai (Fulpmes) tourist boards and the AustriAlpin company, we are pleased to be able to announce this event for the 16th time. The many hobby and free flyers will have plenty of opportunity to check out new equipment and test fly from starting points like the Elfer in Neustift and the Kreuzjoch in Fulpmes. There is also the opportunity to win a paraglider.
Stubai is well-known for its micro climate which allows thermal flights of over an hour already in January (weather permitting). The 16th Stubai Cup event promises to be just as magnetic as ever for the world’s best pilots.
The flying school Parafly, together with the different paragliding clubs in the region, is expecting more than 500 competitors in the FUN competitions this year. NOTE: Make sure you reserve your room early enough – it’s also the skiing season!!!
