Personal paragliding coaching based in Greolieres

Come and improve your flying in a relaxed and friendly environment. Bob Drury and Russell Ogden are running a weekend of personal paragliding coaching based in Greolieres, Maritime alps region of the South of France. Dates: 31st March 2006 until 3rd April 2006 The aim of the course is to help develop your all-round flying skills from thermalling to XC. Both Bob and Russell will be giving talks and trying to impart as much as their knowledge as possible during the weekend. With two experienced instructors, the course is suitable for beginner (CP +10hrs) and experienced alike, so it is up to you whether you would just like to work on your thermalling skills and decision making in the mountains, or fly as far as possible XC. You will be instructed in the air and on the ground, flying with experienced pilots who will be assessing your skills and offering tips and ways to improve your flying. There are many great sites in the region ( details of the region's flying sites can be found at www.flyozone.com ) and for reliability this area is hard to beat. So far this year there have been climbs in excess of 2000m (7000ft asl) and only a few days lost to the weather. Accommodation will be in Ben and Karen's beautiful Gite in Greolieres, with meals and parties for sure. Airport transfers and retrieves will of course be provided.
