Advance teamster Ramon Morillas won the 2006 Spanish Paramotor Championship in May flying an Epsilon5/PAP combo. A few days later, on June 8th, he took off from Playa de Lepe in Spain and landed 12 hours later in Arue, France to set a new paramotor straight-line distance record of 951km. The flight, using 50 litres of fuel was made at around 6,000ft at speeds of up to 120km/h. Ramon initially held this record in 1998 at 644km, only to be eclipsed in 2005 by Vladimir Makurim who pushed it up to 710km. Ramon's new record awaits FAI homologation.
